The Hummer Difference
We offer the most comprehensive tour in the desert with a journey on the smoothest most capable vehicles in the area. OPEN AIR military Hummers are used for this tour to allow you a full sensory experience of the sights, sounds and smells of the Desert. All guides are trained in the geology, botany and the Indian history of this place. Unlike smaller four wheel drives, the Hummer provides comfort not otherwise possible. Our vehicles have forward facing comfortable bus benches with expert drivers trained by a National Park geologist. We are leaders in tours into Joshua Tree National Park and recommended as the Best Eco Tour of the Valley.
Great for all ages. We have taken everyone from 3 months to 103 years of age on this tour. The Hummer is absolutely the smoothest vehicle in the Desert terrain. Our vehicles are outfitted with comfortable seats with lots of legroom. Grandparents and children alike will have the a great time seeing and learning about our amazing desert. We follow a terrain that the Hummer was designed for. You'll see why the military upgraded to these amazing vehicles in 1985. The San Andreas Fault Explorer - A 3 hour tour
Visit the rock gardens of the San Andreas Fault. This off road adventure takes you into the canyons formed by the fault line. Expert guides ad optional walks make this a great tour for all times of year. We take guests into a 35,000 acre preserve containing the 3rd largest oasis in the world as well as a bridge the crosses the very crack of the San Andreas Fault. Reboard the Hummers to follow an old goldmine trail. We follow through spectacular canyons within the San Andreas Fault regarded as the oldest in the country where we visit an old goldmine before returning to the resort. A total of 1 hour is spent on optional walks and photo stops.

The Joshua Tree Adventure - A 4 hour tour
This tour is our DELUXE TOUR that includes a spectacular journey into both our lower Desert (also known as the Colorado) as well as the high desert (also known as the Mojave Desert) where we enter Joshua Tree National Park. This tour includes everything in the San Andreas Fault Explorer PLUS a trip into Joshua Tree National Park. We climb over 2000 feet higher then where most other tours can go to the edge of an ancient volcanic summit where you can see all the way to Mexico.
No visit to Palm Springs is complete without a journey into Joshua Tree National Park which is located near the Palm Springs area. Our journey follows the Big Game Corridor into the National Park far away from the commotion of the city. Big Horn Sheep,
Golden Eagles and coyotes are some of the animals these tours have encountered on this "MUST DO" Adventure.
What is included:
1.) Begin with an adventure into the Canyons of the San Andreas Fault. Journey into canyons formed by the most powerful fault line in North America.
2.) Stop at the 3rd largest Oasis in the world to walk over the San Andreas Fault on a bridge. Water literally gurgles out of the ground.
3.) Step inside a cabin built by one of the first settlers of the area.
4.) Travel along an old goldmine trail that rises some 4000 feet above the desert floor.
5.) Travel into Joshua Tree National Park in the largest protected wilderness in the contiguous States!
6.) 1 hour is spent off the Hummer for optional walks and photos.
7.) All entrance fees to the Oasis and the National Park are included.

Daily Sunset Tours depart 4 hours prior to sundown.
